Job Description

Job Summary:

  • The Cath Lab tech works in a multidisciplinary lab, supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures.
  • Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of Catheterization equipment, while applying prescribed procedure for operation of radiology imaging equipment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities – Required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality – Required.
  • BLS & ACLS – Required.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written – Required.
  • Effective interpersonal skills – Required.
  • RCIS or ARRT – Required.
  • Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience.
  • Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or years of equivalent experience-Required.

Additional Job Details:

  • Must live 100 miles away.

Schedule Notes:

  • M-F with call requirement to cover 24/7 STEMI call
  • Yes 10-15 shifts a month depending on the staffing (vacations, etc.).
  • Weekday call starts at  5:00pm – 6:30am.
  • Weekend call starts Friday, 5:00pm – 6:30am Saturday, Saturday 6:30pm – 6:30am Sunday, Sunday call is 6:30pm – 6:30am Monday.
