Job Summary:
- Performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients.
- Operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician.
- Keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required.
- Maintains, stores and orders supplies and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides quality patient care in relation to the patient’s prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, development and other identified needs.
- Responsible for the performance of all duties relating to the administration of a prescribed course of Radiation Therapy.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree.
- MRT License in state of employment.
- RRT License in state of employment.
- BLS.
- RADTH ARRT.
- True Beam machine experience and Aria/Varian experience.
- Specialized procedures experience: SPRT, SRS, IGRT, IMRT
- Two to five years of clinical experience preferred.
- IMRT experience, LDR/HDR experience preferred.
