Job Description
Job Summary:
- The RRT will provide direct patient care services with specific emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices; support requests for continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers; assist in training on use of inhalers; set up patients with DME equipment; work closely with physicians.
Required Education:
- Co ARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program – Required.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- RRT or CRT from NRBC.
- New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).
- BLS
- ACLS
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
- Current Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), required.
- Active license for Respiratory Therapy in New Jersey, required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Advanced Life Support required within 12 months of hire.
