Job Summary:
- The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately.
- Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision.
Education:
- New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
- Professional (J.D., M.D., D.D.S. or Pharm. D.).
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.
- 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred.
Certifications & Licenses:
- New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting.
- Epic experience preferred.
- Home health experience.
- Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with client.
- Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting.
Languages:
- English( Speak, Read, Write).
