Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist.
- Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.
- The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.
- The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist.
- The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Strong communication skills using closed loop communication.
- The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load.
- Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons.
- Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system.
- Groin management post intervention.
- Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Associate degree.
- Completion of accredited radiography program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- NJ radiographic licensure.
- BLS from an approved client credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
- Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardiovascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
Schedule Notes:
- 4-10-hour shift with rotating day off based on departmental needs.
- On-call every 4th weekend starts from Friday, 5pm -Monday, 7am with one day per weekday call 5p-7am.

Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
