CT Technologist

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Explain procedures, verify patient identity, ensure patient comfort and safety, and position patients correctly for accurate imaging.
• Prepare and administer contrast agents when required, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and follow safety guidelines.
• Apply radiation protection principles, minimize patient exposure, and comply with regulatory and departmental safety standards.

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Education of Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
• Accredited Radiography program Required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Requirements:

• NJ State license.
• ARRT (CT) (R).
• BLS – AHA.

Note:

• Non-Taxable Per Diem is also provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.
