Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Explain procedures, verify patient identity, ensure patient comfort and safety, and position patients correctly for accurate imaging.
- Prepare and administer contrast agents when required, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and follow safety guidelines.
- Apply radiation protection principles, minimize patient exposure, and comply with regulatory and departmental safety standards.
Education:
- Associate’s Degree in Education of Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
- Accredited Radiography program Required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Requirements:
- NJ State license.
- ARRT (CT) (R).
- BLS – AHA.
Note:
- Non-Taxable Per Diem is also provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.
