Job Description

Requirements:

• BLS & NC state license required.
• EPIC.
• Previous Peds experience required.
• Outpatient setting experience required.
• Minimum 2 years experience required.

Patient Demographics:

• Large portion of peds caseload is birth to 5 yrs so MUST be proficient with this age group.

Skills and Competencies:

• AROM AAROM PROM, Body Mechanics, Identifying Environmental Barriers, Pain assessment, Sensory response, Strength testing.
• Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Long & Short Term Goals, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Time Management.
• Gait belt & training.
• Cognitive disorders.
• Cerebral Palsy, Developmental delays, Early Intervention Programs, Individualized programs, Milestone assessment, Scoliosis, Spina bifida, Torticollis.
• Home Exercise Program, Patient family education, Signs & Symptoms physical, sexual, psychological abuse, Safety and injury prevention.
