Job Description

Job Summary:

• Assesses and evaluates patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain and other medical conditions.
• Based on this assessment and evaluation, develops a treatment plan, performs interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient’s well being, and evaluates the patient’s progress.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Highly organized and analytical. 5. Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
• A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school is required.

Preferred Education:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure is required. –
• BLS – American Heart Association.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

• Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Required Skills & Experience:

• One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting) is required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• One (1) year ultrasound experience is preferred.
