Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) performs technical duties to assist with preoperative patient preparation and care.
• The CST supports surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting the surgical team as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment.
• Assist with preoperative patient preparation and care.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control protocols.
• Support surgeons and the surgical team during procedures.
• Ensure surgical instruments and supplies are available and properly handled.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist; 5+ years preferred.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Scrub experience in cardiac or neurological surgery, along with other surgical specialties.
