Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, provides respiratory care services, including life support, resuscitation, medical gas therapy, patient monitoring, and diagnostic procedures.
• Works with ICU and general practice patients while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and coordinating with the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Associate of Science degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification.
• Current, active Michigan Respiratory Therapist license.
• Current BLS certification through AHA.
• NRP certification.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with PB 980 and/or EV300 NIV ventilators.
• Experience with ABL blood gas analyzer.
• Special Care Nursery experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Ensure the candidate’s preferred shift is clearly mentioned on the submission coversheet.
• Confirm shift preference before submitting.
• Active Michigan RT license.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• NRP certification.
• PB 980 / EV300 ventilator experience (preferred).
• ABL blood gas analyzer experience (preferred).
• Special Care Nursery experience (preferred).
• Confirmed day or night shift preference.
