Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Central Sterile Processing Technician provides sterile products and instruments to all members of the healthcare team.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate Aide Training Program OR a Central Technician Program OR 6 months of previous experience in Central Supply.

Required Certification & Licensure:

• NICHSPDP Certification required for CSP Tech position.

Facility: Level II Trauma Center.
Interview Type: Phone with Manager.
Minimum Experience: 2 years.
Certification: CSP or CBSPD.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have experience with sterilization equipment.
• Must be committed, reliable, and self-motivated.
• This is a midnight shift with minimal supervision.
• Resource must be able to operate independently.

Schedule: Every other weekend. If a weekend shift is required, it will be Friday or Saturday night, with one day off during the week.

Hours Per Week: 40, Hours Per Day: 8, Days Per Week: 5.
