Job Summary:
- Under general supervision and in accordance with established procedures, performs routine laboratory activities including patient registration, venipuncture, computer data entry, and other related clinical laboratory functions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive and register patients.
- Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
- Enter patient and specimen data into the computer system.
- Conduct routine laboratory clinical support functions.
- Round within the clinic to collect specimens and transport them to the main laboratory.
- Draw approximately 20–25 tubes per session as required.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Preferred Education:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomy training program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Valid, unrestricted Michigan Driver’s License.
- Must be insurable by Client Insurance Carrier.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6 months to 1 year of on-the-job venipuncture experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of overall experience preferred per manager.
- Previous computer experience preferred.

- 30-minute in-person interview (manager will provide onsite walkthrough of responsibilities),
