Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for providing sterile products and instruments to members of the healthcare team while supporting safe and efficient patient care.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Completion of an appropriate Aide training program, OR -A Central Technician program, OR -6 months’ previous experience in Central Supply.

Required Certification & Licensure:

• NICHSPDP Certification is required as a qualification for a CSP Tech position.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to read and understand temperature gauges.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
