Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment to all members of the healthcare team.
• This role ensures proper decontamination, sterilization, assembly, storage, and distribution of medical instruments in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Aide Training Program, Central Technician Program, or at least 6 months of previous Central Supply experience.

Certification:

• NICHSPDP Certification required.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Central Sterile Processing experience required.
• Candidate must be reliable and punctual.

Skills:

• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to read temperature gauges and monitor sterilization equipment.

• Manager will conduct a phone interview with qualified candidates.
