Job Description
Duties:
- Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to care provided to all age groups of patients in area, ranging from neonate to geriatric.
- Participates in performance improvement activities within the Interventional department and participates in CQI activities.
- This position requires compliance with all Joint Commission, state, federal, corporate radiation policies, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.
- Must possess critical thinking skills and strive to create and maintain great relationships with all facility stakeholders.
- May also be responsible for operating various imaging equipment to assist in minimally invasive diagnostic and intermediate level procedures.
- Included equipment may include IR Suite equipment, Diagnostic X‐ray to include fluoroscopy, MRI, CT, or Mammography units.
- May provide diagnostic and specialized imaging services in both the inpatient and outpatient environment.
- Provides technical support to Radiologist & residents during advanced imaging studies.
- Serves as a resource in their specialized field to co-workers.
Requirements:
- Interventional/Cath lab radiological technologist with scrub experience.
- ARRT or RCIS.
