Job Description

Duties:

  • Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to care provided to all age groups of patients in area, ranging from neonate to geriatric.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities within the Interventional department and participates in CQI activities.
  • This position requires compliance with all Joint Commission, state, federal, corporate radiation policies, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.
  • Must possess critical thinking skills and strive to create and maintain great relationships with all facility stakeholders.
  • May also be responsible for operating various imaging equipment to assist in minimally invasive diagnostic and intermediate level procedures.
  • Included equipment may include IR Suite equipment, Diagnostic X‐ray to include fluoroscopy, MRI, CT, or Mammography units.
  • May provide diagnostic and specialized imaging services in both the inpatient and outpatient environment.
  • Provides technical support to Radiologist & residents during advanced imaging studies.
  • Serves as a resource in their specialized field to co-workers.

Requirements:

  • Interventional/Cath lab radiological technologist with scrub experience.
  • ARRT or RCIS.
