Job Description
Job Summary:
- This position is primarily focused on performing routine EEG studies, with scheduled hookups and unhooks incorporated into the daily workflow.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with both pediatric and adult patients, with a strong emphasis on pediatric care.
Float Requirements:
- As RRT, some NICU/PICU.
- Acute care pediatrics and ED required as well as adult acute and critical care.
Certifications:
- BLS required, ACLS preferred, NRP for NICU.
- RRT required.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: Varied depending on daily assignments, cover entire facility with a team of 14-16 RRT.
- Patient Ratios: Acute 1:25, critical 1:8.
- Equipment: vernts: Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm.
- EMR: EPIC.
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Tertiary, teaching hospital experience, level 1 trauma. 3+ years of experience.
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU/PICU Cardiothoracic.
- Type of Patients on Unit: varied.
- Personality Fit: flexible, team player, great communication skills.
