Job Description

Float Requirements:

• Acute care pediatrics and ED required.
• Adult acute and critical care.

Required Certifications:

• BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• NRP for NICU.
• RRT required.

Unit Information:

Number of Beds:

• Varied depending on daily assignments, cover entire facility with a team of 14–16 RRT.

Patient Ratios:

• Acute: 1:25.
• Critical: 1:8.

Equipment:

• Vents: Drager V500 and VN500.
• Hamilton T1 and C1.
• Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line.
• Airvo.
• Vapotherm.

EMR: EPIC.

Hiring Profile:

Must Have Skills/Experience:

• Tertiary, teaching hospital experience.
• Level 1 trauma.
• 3+ years of experience.

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

• NICU/PICU.
• Cardiothoracic.

Type of Patients on Unit: Varied.

Personality Fit:

• Flexible.
• Team player.
• Great communication skills.
