Registered Respiratory Therapist

Float Requirements:

• As RRT.
• Acute care pediatrics and ED required as well as adult acute and critical care.

Certifications Required:

• BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• NRP for NICU.
• RRT required.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: varied depending on daily assignments, cover entire facility with a team of 14-16 RRT.
• Patient Ratios: acute 1:25, critical 1:8.
• Equipment: vernts: Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, V30, V60, Trilogy line.
• EMR: EPIC.

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Tertiary, teaching hospital experience, level 1 trauma, 3+ years of experience required.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU/PICU Caridothoracic.
• Type of Patients on Unit: varied.
• Personality Fit: flexible, team player, great communication skills.
