Unit Information:

Number of Beds: 25

Patient Ratios:

• Patients schedule typically q-45 to 60 minutes.
• Less technical studies might be scheduled q-30 minutes.

Equipment: Philips EPIQ Elite.

EMR: EPIC

Must Have Skills/Experience:

• General sonographer could ideally perform pelvic, abdomen, vascular, thyroid, DVT, Transvaginal, GYN, scrotum, AAA, and OB(first trimester, growth and bpp mostly, no fetal surveys or level 2), thyroid FNA.
• Prefer breast experience, but not a firm requirement.
• Echo not a requirement.
• Min 1-2 years experience.

Required Certifications:

• RDMS.
• Current ARDMS and/or AART(S).
• BLS/RQI.

Type of Patients on Unit: General Med-Surg, ED and Outpatients.

Personality Fit:

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Multi-tasker,
• Team player.
