Job Description

Job Summary:

• We are looking for someone who is competent working with a diverse patient population in a fast paced acute care hospital environment, and comfortable working with a wide variety of patient diagnoses.
• Rehab wears dark gray scrubs.

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year in the acute care hospital environment, but ideal overall experience is 2+ years in the acute care hospital environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity in working with patients in a hospital setting, ICU experience would be an added bonus.
• Experience in working with diverse patient populations is also a plus.
• Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus.

Required Certifications:

• MA OT licensure, CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider).

Skill Level:

• Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting, have excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques, be a good communicator, comfortable working with other members of the health care team (i.e. nursing, MD, Case management), team player, strong time management skills, be self-directed, flexible and able to multitask.
