Electrophysiology Technologist

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Prepare sterile equipment, catheters, sheaths, and other medical instruments.
• Prepare sterile sites on patients.
• Offer technical support for Electrophysiologist during ablations, EP studies, cardio versions, cardiac device implants and explants.
• Operate the Cryo ablation generator during atrial fibrillation ablations, assist in the diagnosis of arrhythmias through the use of stimulators.
• Experience with programming, scrubbing, devices, and Pruka preferred.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years EP/electrophysiology experience with devices, EP studies, Ablations, PVI.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips and pass Tele test on day 1 with 85%.
