Job Description
Job Summary:
- Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors.
- Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors.
- Position the body correctly.
- Review physicians’ orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self.
- Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions, and codes.
- Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
Experience:
- 2 years or more experience with trauma and stroke experience required.
Education:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent required.
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.
Certifications:
- BLS required.
- AART RT(R)CT required.
- Current State/District license required.
