Job Summary:
- The Pharmacy Technician provides support by handling inbound calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders.
- They assist with prior authorization, prescription filling, and walk-in patient support.
- All clinical questions are routed to a licensed pharmacist.
- This is an onsite role requiring strong communication, customer service, and administrative skills.
- Answer high-volume inbound calls from members and providers, delivering professional phone support.
- Process and document prior authorization requests (approvals/denials).
- Support walk-in patients and provide assistance as directed by the site leader.
Education, Experience and Certifications/ License:
- High School Diploma or GED (verifiable).
- Minimum 1 year as a Pharmacy Technician in an administrative or support function.
- State of Colorado pharmacy technician license (required; provisional license available for 18 months).
- National certification (preferred).
