Laboratory Technologist Assistant

Job Summary:

• We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technologist Assistant to support laboratory operations in a clinical healthcare setting.
• This role is perfect for someone looking to grow in the lab sciences field while Producting experience in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support licensed laboratory personnel in routine specimen handling, preparation, and processing.
• Receive, sort, label, and accession biological specimens with precision.
• Operate basic lab equipment such as centrifuges and pipettes under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces per laboratory SOPs and safety regulations.
• Document data accurately into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Assist with restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
• Follow all OSHA and infection control policies.
• Coordinate timely transport of specimens to designated testing areas.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT-1) REQUIRED.
• Two years experience working in an acute care setting as a phlebotomist preferred.
