Job Summary:
- Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician with a focus on quality control.
- The role ensures instrument cleanliness, assembly accuracy, and compliance with strict standards to maintain patient safety and operational reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate and reassemble surgical instruments following ANSI/AAMI standards, IFUs, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
- Safely operate washers, sterilizers, and processing equipment.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage prior to packaging.
- Accurately assemble and package trays and document missing/damaged items.
- Maintain sterilization records, instrument tracking, and inventory levels.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sterilization equipment and work areas.
- Support quality standards, infection control, and continuous workflow improvements.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members and operations staff.
- Participate in training and maintain required certifications.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years sterile processing experience (required).
- Certification (CRCST, CIS, or equivalent) – required.
- Previous quality control experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
