Job Summary:
- We are actively seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to deliver precise, patient-centered diagnostic imaging within a collaborative hospital environment.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical mastery of GE scanners, possess impeccable communication skills, and be flexible to float to client as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Operate and maintain GE CT scanners and related equipment with exacting accuracy.
- Verify patient identity and confirm scan requirements; explain procedures clearly to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Administer contrast media as required, following California venipuncture standards.
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists for timely interpretation.
- Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and uphold strict confidentiality.
- Comply with hospital infection control, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain BLS readiness to respond to patient emergencies if needed.
- Float to the client as assigned to meet departmental demands.
Required Credentials:
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).
- ARRT (CT) Certification.
- California Venipuncture Certification.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA).
- Prior hospital-based CT experience.
