Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide professional social work support within the behavioral health department.
• Apply social work knowledge and skills in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with appropriate healthcare professionals to support client needs.
• Maintain appropriate professional communication and documentation.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
• Experience providing social services.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a behavioral health setting.

Required Education:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).

Required Licensure:

• Valid New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by the New York State
• Education Department (NYSED).
• Primary source verification of the LMSW license is required.

Preferred Experience:

• Behavioral health and social work experience.
• Client assessment and care coordination.
• Clinical documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
