Surgical Technologist

Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Surgical Technologist maintains responsibility for preparation of the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, making appropriate responses as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and principles related to those procedures.

Required Education:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent – Completion of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Surgical Tech – Certification Required.
• BLS-AHA.

• Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility
