Respiratory Therapist – (Travel)

Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Respiratory Therapist provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatient and outpatient populations.
• The RT follows approved medical protocols and department policies while working closely with physicians and clinical teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures.
• Administer medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas.
• Maintain and manage patient airways.
• Provide ventilator management.
• Perform arterial line insertion and intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies.
• Assist with cardiac and pulmonary stress testing.
• Perform and monitor blood gas testing.
• Provide timely respiratory and cardiopulmonary care according to established protocols.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• NBRC RRT or CRT certification .
• Active Florida Respiratory Therapist license .
• BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) .
