Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

Job Summary:

• The RRT will provide direct patient care services with specific emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices; support requests for continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers; assist in training on use of inhalers; set up patients with DME equipment; work closely with physicians.

Required Education:

• Co ARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program – Required.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• RRT or CRT from NRBC.
• New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).
• BLS.
• ACLS.

Skills and Experience:

• 1 year hospital or physician office experience – Required.
• Computer literacy – Required.
