Sterile Processing Technician

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs decontamination, sterilzation and processing of equipment and supplies used during invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• May be assigned to different areas within the department with a variety of duties which require knowledge of sterile processing methods and strict adherence to established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• 2 years of sterile processing experience with current certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalency – Required.
• Able to speak and write English Fluently.
• Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills.
• Current certification as Sterile Processing Technician – Required.
• Registration by the International Association of Central Service & Materials Management – Required.
