Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting and proper care of all equipment.
- Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients, providing immobilization devices, and selecting proper technical factors based on individual patient needs.
- Restricts radiation beam through cone and collimating devices to prevent exposure to unaffected body parts.
- Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency rooms.
- Identifies patient films correctly with name, x-ray number, and side markers.
- Develops exposed x-ray films using available processing methods.
- Completes patient requisitions with required documentation.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of Accredited Radiography School.
- Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements.
Requirements:
- NJ State RT License.
- ARRT(R).
- BLS – AHA.
Notes:
- Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm including EOW and one on call shift every 3 weeks.
- Other multiple shift options are available.
- Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.
