Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Performs general radiographic procedures to support diagnostic imaging services.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards and maintains quality imaging for patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general radiographic imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and proper positioning.
• Maintain imaging quality and equipment standards.
• Follow hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Support increased imaging demand due to clinic expansion and OR volume.

Required Education:

• Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist to include Military Training.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience.
• Completion of Radiologic Technologist training program (including military training if applicable).
• Ability to perform general radiographic procedures.
