Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Endoscopy Technician, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists with technical procedures, patient care services, and related duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Operate and maintain endoscopy equipment safely.
• Prepare and set up procedure rooms with required equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patients and report any changes in condition.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and specialty equipment.
• Transport equipment as needed.
• Maintain inventory and restock supplies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Endoscopy experience.
• BLS Certification (AHA only).
• Experience with ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, Food bolus, GI bleed, stent placement, dilations, bronchoscopy.
