Certified Sterile Processor

Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for providing sterile products and instruments to all members of the healthcare team.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required, plus one of the following:

• Completion of an approved Aide Training Program, or
• Completion of a Central Technician Program, or
• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience in Central Supply.

Certification Requirements:

• NICHSPDP Certification (required).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and read temperature gauges.
• Strong punctuality and reliability.

Schedule Notes:

• First day will be on day shift for badge issuance and access setup.
• Hiring manager will contact selected candidates for a phone interview.
