Job Description
Job Summary:
- Assists with the examination and treatment of patients/participants under the direction of a physician.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with treatments ordered by a physician under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.
- Perform select clinical duties.
- Interview patients/participants and measure vital signs.
- Record information in patient/participant charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient/participant examinations.
- Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
- Perform basic materials management tasks, such as ordering and stocking supplies.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
- Follow Standard Precautions and use required personal protective equipment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of applicable cumulative, job-specific experience.
Licensure / Certification::
- BLS Provider Certification.
Skills & Work Environment:
- Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment.
