Respiratory Therapist
Job Description
Job Summary:
- The RRT will provide direct patient care services with specific emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices; support requests for continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers; assist in training on use of inhalers; set up patients with DME equipment; work closely with physicians.
Required Education:
- CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program – Required.
- Graduate of an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy program – Required.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- RRT or CRT from NRBC.
- New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).
- BLS
- ACLS
Skills and Experience:
- 1 year hospital or physician office experience – Required.
- NICU/PICU is a requirement.
- Computer literacy – Required.
Schedule Hours Per Week: 40.00
Schedule Hours Per Day: 8.00
Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
