Nuclear Medicine Technician

Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Offsite Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for Nuclear Lab operation, including testing equipment, educating patients and families regarding the procedures, and performing the procedures in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures and standards.

Education and Certifications/ License:

• Associate& Degree required, Bachelor& degree preferred.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• Radiologic Technologist Licensing issued by New York State Dept. of Health BCLS certification Required

Experience:

• 1 year experience as a Nuclear Tech.

Schedule Hours Per Week: 37.50
Schedule Hours Per Day: 8.00
Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
