Job Description

Job Summary:

  • As a member of an interdisciplinary team, provides quality occupational therapy services through comprehensive evaluation, program planning and administration of treatment to all patients.
  • Performs detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs upon physician referral and will develop comprehensive age appropriate plans of care based on findings following occupational therapy evaluation.
  • Accurately and appropriately documents patient treatment.
  • Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments is a must.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited school – Required.
    Master’s degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited school – Highly desired.
  • Inpatient acute care experience required.
  • OT Experience – Required: 2 Years.
  • Degree from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s required, Master’s highly desired).

Certifications / License:

  • BLS – Required.
  • TEXAS License – Required.

Skills:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written – Required.

Additional Job Details:

  • Must live 100 miles away.
