Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Mammography procedures:

• Perform routine and diagnostic mammography, including special procedures like biopsies, in a safe and efficient manner.

2. Image acquisition:

• Operate dedicated mammography equipment, select appropriate technical factors, and position patients to produce diagnostic-quality images.

3. Image critique:

• Independently critique images to identify normal from abnormal tissue and take additional views as needed.
• Demonstrated collaborative/team-oriented work style.
• Demonstrated strong clinical knowledge base and judgment, preferably in ambulatory care setting.
• Ability to analyze, integrate, and use quantitative data/information in making business decisions and problem solving

4. Patient care:

• Provide patient education about the procedure.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
• Document patient assessment, history, and any necessary consent forms.
• Apply knowledge of age-specific patient needs, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a fast-paced department.
• ARRT.
